Today was the first time we had entered a car into the Warren Concours and we were lucky enough to have the weather on our side. Howard and I drove down that morning in his 1958 300 SL Roadster and entered the car in the Warren Classic Concours.
There was a team of world judges inspecting the cars closely and judging on condition, history and patina. That afternoon we were awarded Mercedes Benz Class Winner which put us into the finals for Best in the Show.
Unfortunately for us we didn’t win but we didn’t mind losing to Mr Steve Tillack and his stunning 1960 Alfa Romeo 3000CM Superflow IV.
